This is an example of a live performance test as it is administered in the course. The student browses the plans and searches for violations of the fire code. Once a deficiency is located, a question is loaded from an XML data store to test their knowledge of the various fire and building codes.

Press Ctrl+M to activate the instructor mode; this will highlight the code violations for you. Once you've spotted them, try exiting the instructor mode (by pressing Ctrl+M again) and marking a few deficiencies with the Mark tool. This can be found on the tools palette, it's shaped like a crosshair.

This version of the test introduces the student to the user interface by way of a virtual “mentor.” A panel with text and audio is presented with the course to guide the student through a model plans review.
