Welcome! Before viewing the game demo, you may want to read this brief encapsulation of the rules:

Ready for Combat consists of 2 rounds, each presenting 12 questions.

The game board has nine “blocks” surrounding the title. At the start of a round, each block on the game board is filled with one of the six category names and the specialty logo. Specialty spaces include:

  • 2 for 1 (2-player game)
  • Pot Luck (single player game)
  • Double or Nothing
  • Bio Brothers

At the start of a player’s turn, the available categories and specialty spaces randomly move around the nine small blocks. A highlight also moves around nine small blocks. Click the plunger to “freeze” the screen. (NOTE: you may also use the space bar to freeze the plunger.)

After the screen is frozen, the logo disappears, and the category and point value of the question to be presented appear in the center block. If answered correctly, the specified number of points are added to the score. If the question is answered incorrectly, no points are lost.

If the player lands on either a 2 for 1, Pot Luck, or Double or Nothing space, the specialty animation will run (modifying the value of the question) and the board spins again to select the category.

Players are given one Survival Chip to use after a Bio Brothers animation.

Exercising the Survival Chip option “cleanses” you of the infection and waives the Bio Brothers action.
